It was a pleasure to participate in the National Conference “Engaging Tajik Diaspora and Compatriots Abroad as Partners in National Development,” organized by the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan, with the participation of international partners, including IOM – UN Migration.
A particularly warm moment from the conference was the opportunity to meet and speak with Ms. Soleha Kholmahmadzoda, Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
I truly appreciated her openness, positive energy and genuine interest in strengthening cooperation with Tajik communities and associations abroad.
The conference also featured a valuable presentation by Munkhjargal Byambasuren from IOM – UN Migration, sharing Mongolia’s experience in maintaining connections between younger generations abroad and their homeland through language, culture, education and youth programmes.
These ideas strongly resonate with PAIVAND and our new international initiative, Immortal Era — connecting cultural and intellectual heritage with the new generation through modern formats.
For PAIVAND, strengthening connections between Tajikistan, Austria and Europe means turning dialogue into practical initiatives, partnerships and new opportunities.
I look forward to continuing this dialogue and exploring new opportunities for cooperation between PAIVAND, Tajikistan, Austria and Europe.
