On **22 March**, the Tajik community in Belgium gathered for a traditional **Sumanak** cooking ceremony, organized through the initiative of **Khosiyatchon**, Chair of the Tajik Association in Belgium.
Sumanak is far more than a traditional dish—it is a cherished part of Central Asian cultural heritage, symbolizing **patience, abundance, and new beginnings**. Prepared collectively with songs, kind thoughts, and heartfelt wishes, it reflects the spirit of unity and hope that defines the Nowruz season.
People from **Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Afghanistan** came together to celebrate this timeless tradition, strengthening friendships and embracing the values of community and cultural continuity.
The event was filled with warmth, hospitality, and genuine joy, serving as a beautiful reminder that **culture knows no borders and traditions have the power to bring people together.**
