PAIVAND represented Tajikistan at ICDO’s The Long Nights of Interculturality 2026 in Vienna, celebrating Tajik culture, traditional costumes, music, dance and cultural heritage.
It was a great honor for Paivand Association to take part in this memorable celebration. The evening was enriched by a speech from Eduard Babadustov, Deputy Chairman of Paivand, as well as a captivating performance by the “Sluchaynye–Paivand” Dance Ensemble, whose artistry beautifully conveyed the vitality, elegance, and rich cultural heritage of Tajikistan.
This evening once again demonstrated that music knows no borders — it brings hearts, cultures, and nations together, speaking a universal language understood by everyone.
Sumanak is far more than a traditional dish—it is a cherished part of Central Asian cultural heritage, symbolizing **patience, abundance, and new beginnings**.
On this special day, representatives of different countries and cultures gathered together to share the joy of the celebration, preserve traditions, and experience a true sense of unity.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of cultural diplomacy, intercultural dialogue, and strengthening humanitarian ties.
